Adebowale Afolabi (MCIOB), brings over two decades of specialist experience in heavy lifting operations from the United Kingdom to Nigeria. His professional portfolio spans large civil infrastructure, onshore and offshore works, marine engineering, tunnelling, highways, MEICA installations, UK Naval dockyards and shipbuilding, ports, and major construction projects.
He believes that true excellence in lifting operations rests on three foundational principles: competence, responsiveness, and accountability.
He maintains a firm conviction that every lift regardless of its scale must be planned and executed with absolute diligence. Safety, to him, is far more than a procedural requirement; it is a culture built on continuous training, transparent communication, and disciplined operational control. Adebowale Afolabi (MCIOB), who recognised the industry’s widening gap in timely service response and the scarcity of competent in-house lifting expertise.
